Please be aware that the draft for the 2023/2024 season will be held at the Cranbrook Golf Course in the rear room opening at 6:00 PM on Tuesday September 19 2023 with the draft commencing at 6:30 PM. Hey everyone, I know it is early and everyone is just getting set into Summer mode but I just wanted to let everyone know that registration for next season is now open online only. I will be opening up in person registration here in a few weeks at Players Bench and will let you all know when that happens. Fees this year are the same as last year being $380 full season and $50 for spares. The season is opening up on September 24 2023 and run until March 24 2024 with the year end tourney to commence the weekend of March 29-31 2024. Just an FYI that in person registration is going to be limited this year and total registrations are also going to be limited so once the spots are filled there will be no exceptions for late entries. Good afternoon fella’s Registrations are rolling in hot this week and we are officially at the half way point for amount of players before cut off, There is only 2 weeks left to get registered so if you haven’t done so please register online or head down to Players Bench so you don’t miss out on the upcoming season. Happy Summer Gents Hopefully everyone is out enjoying the summer as the nice weather has now finally got here. That being said it is time to start getting ready for the 2022/2023 KCOHL Hockey season as it s right around the corner. Online registration will be opening up next Friday July 22 2022 and in person will be opening up at Players Bench on August 12 2022. Fees this year are $380 plus the $10 admin fees for online and $380 in person. When paying in person please pay in Cash or Check!.  The season will be starting September 11 2022 and finishing March 12 2023, this is a little earlier than usual but hopefully we can avoid spring break this year and get more guys out for the year end as well we have kindly given up our usual year end ice time to the U-13 Female team as they are looking to host the BC Provincials this year! As of right now there are no COVID restrictions but WFP follows what Interior Health sets as guidelines so things may change but fingers crossed hopefully not! Side note, There are still quite a few jerseys out there that haven’t been returned. If everyone could please check your bags and make arrangements with either myself or drop off at Inland Kenworth to Scott Smiley so that we can have them cleaned and ready for the upcoming season. Congratulations to Players Bench and to the Iron Man Dave Hall for a successful Championship weekend! Dave has played all 36 seasons in the KCOHL since it’s inception and has announced this was his last. I can’t thing of a better way for Dave to end his KCOHL career than with his name on the trophy once again! Dave’s kindness and sportsmanship is a prime example of what this league is all about and will be sorely missed out there!!! Congrats Dave from all your friends in the KCOHL!!
