We have opened online registration for the 2015-16 KCOHL season!  Visit the website and click on the “Registration” link on the left and side of the page. Anyone who has registered in the past will have their info in the system already, please ensure that it is up to date with your current address and phone numbers.  If you have forgotten your password for the site, please use the “forgot password” link on the webpage to recover it. I can’t reset your password, only teamopolis can. We will send additional reminders through the summer.   NEW THIS YEAR! Less than 1 week to go for the Heritage Team Shaker, Pig Roast and Party

The Heritage Inn Squad is hosting a Pig Roast and Shaker at Bob Tabian’s Place on May 2 at . 3811 53rd St S Out by the South Star Trails. Party Starts at 6, Wives and Girlfriends are encouraged to attend. There’s Gonna be a pig roast, Theres gonna be a band, If there a band, there will be dancing so bring your wives and girlfriends. Cause Smiley says he’s only going to dance with so many of you. The party is out doors and so there’s no walls so Big Sexy figures he’s safe There’s gonna be some drunk hockey players (no wait that’s every Sunday from Sept-March) It all happens on Saturday May 2 starting at 6pm and going on until the wee hours of the next morning. Bob says he has everything required for a great time EXCEPT chairs and snacks. You will probably want to bring some of your own booze too.   There are spots for tent and RV’s as well, so if you have one, and don’t want to drive home there’s lots of space for them. The Heritage guys have put lots of effort into the party, and we’d love to see a great turnout from the league. Hope to see everyone there.

Player Rosters have been reset to prep for the upcoming season

We’ve reset the rosters for next season and so we have removed everyone from the teams they were on for the 2014-15 season. So if you don’t see a team name beside yours its supposed to be that way.

Save the Date May 2nd 2015

Save the date May 2! To help celebrate a great season The Heritage Inn squad are inviting all members of the league to join them at Bob Tabian’s house for a party! This will help carry everyone over from the tournament to the Golf Tourney and give us the opportunity to see how Smiley’s face Is recovering. Fortunately for him the party will be outdoors for the most art so there wont be any walls to walk into 🙂 Date: Saturday May 2 Time 6:00 pm onwards. Reminder Playoffs start today

Its March the 8th and the KCOHL playoffs start today with the first game of the 2014-15 playoffs starting at 2:45 this afternoon. Since this is a playoff game a reminder to teams that you can only pick up spares IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 9 SKATERS. If you are picking up spares you can have no more than 10 skaters.

Year end Tourney rules reminder

The rules for the year end tourney have been set and are listed below.    1. All games are 2 – 25 minute running time periods. If final game is tied after regulation time, there will be 5 minutes of sudden death overtime, followed by a 3 man shootout. 2. Last 2 minutes will be stop time if 2 goals or less differential. 3. 3 goal limit per player per game. Faceoff in defensive zone if 4th                                     scored. 4.Round robin tie breakers:                                                           A. Total Points: win = 2 points, tie = 1 point, loss = 0 points.    B.  Most wins.    C.  Winner of round robin game.    D.  Goals for minus goals against (maximum differential of 7 goals).    E.  Least goals against.    F.  Coin toss. 5. Rules of play in accordance with CARHA official rules, plus     the following:    A.  No slapshots – ABOVE KNEES = minor penalty.    B.  Fake slapshot = minor penalty    C.  2nd slapshot penalty = game ejection    D.  Golf swinging at puck = minor penalty.                          E.  Contact with or attempt to contact puck with a high stick (ABOVE CROSSBAR) = minor penalty. 6. Penalties:    A.  Minor – 3 minutes.    B.  Major – 7 minutes + game misconduct.    C.  Fighting – Major + tournament ejection.    D.  Intent to injure – same as fighting.    E.  3 penalties – game ejection. 7. Spares may be utilized by teams during the playoffs that are unable to field 10 regular skaters for a game. These spares must come from the current spare list and meet the age requirement. A new spare list has been uploaded to the KCOHL Website you may want to download it to your phones. Joel Savage has added himself to the list of available players, so many of you will be gald to see him back in the league (Maybe not the goaltenders but most other people 🙂 Sheldon Barker ahs also added himself to the list. Feel free to contact these new players and get them some games.
