The KCOHL Proves That Giving is Better Than Receiving Once again, the KCOHL has stepped up, proving that our league is about more than just hockey. With the help of our special guest player, we raised an incredible $763 in in-kind donations and $635 in cash donations—totaling nearly $1,400 for the Cranbrook Food Bank! Many people donate to the Cranbrook Food Bank before Christmas, but the need continues long after the holidays. By scheduling our donations closer to Christmas, we can help support families through the cold winter months. The food bank appreciates both food and cash donations. Many local grocers work with the food bank to stretch their funds further, so even a small cash donation can make a big difference. Thanksgiving Weekend Hockey – Game Confirmed! We had 28 players sign up, so we’re going ahead with the pickup game! Event Details: Location: Memorial Arena Ice Time: 6:00 PM (90-minute session) Cost: $10 for hockey, $3 for refreshments Equipment: Full gear required, including visors (insurance purposes) Bring both a light and dark jersey—we’ll be making teams the old-fashioned way: sticks in the middle!
