President’s Message
Hello KCOHL players,
Two months into the season, it’s been incredible to see everyone back on the ice, enjoying the game we all love. The KCOHL is built on a foundation of camaraderie, competition, and the shared joy of hockey – topped off with a well-earned post-game beer with teammates.
That said, I want to take a moment to remind everyone of the importance of keeping our league safe and enjoyable for all players. While we value the competitive spirit, it’s even more important that we all respect the rules and play in a way that prioritizes safety and sportsmanship.
Please remember:
- Play hard but fair.
- Respect your teammates, opponents, and officials.
- Keep the spirit of the game intact by focusing on fun and safety.
We’ve all joined this league for the love of hockey, and it’s up to each of us to ensure every player gets the chance to enjoy it to the fullest. Let’s keep the season going strong and create great memories both on and off ice.

Don’t forget to use the app to let your teammates know if you’re gonna make a game or not. It only takes a couple of seconds but can save a lot of hassles for your fellow players when it comes to picking up spares. And don’t forget, you will get an email reminder to check in for the game as well… in just two clicks you can become a master communicator that your teammates will respect and adore!

Fun Fact
Did you know? The fastest slapshot ever recorded was 108.8 mph, achieved by Zdeno Chara in 2012! Also, if you take a slap shot in the KCOHL that’s how fast you will get tossed in the box!
